The sports industry is a ruthless one, and we’re not talking just about professional athletes.

Everyone who makes a living off sports knows firsthand that it doesn’t have regular schedules.

There are countless sleepless nights and nights on the road.

And while some people make plenty of money off that, they’re human beings first and foremost, and constantly missing important dates and celebrations with their family and friends isn’t for everybody.

With that in mind, Mike Greenberg’s wife Stacy took to Twitter to wish him a good Father’s Day and show him some love and appreciation.

Greenberg has become one of ESPN’s main figures, and it takes plenty of hard work and dedication to achieve such a feature.

Those who work in sports are fortunate enough to make their passion their livelihood, but it’s still a hard job to do.

Now, with the NFL season just around the corner, Greenberg will hope that his beloved New York Jets will give him the best Father’s Day present ever by finally putting their woes behind them and going for a Super Bowl.

He got his hopes last season after campaigning for them to get Aaron Rodgers and only getting to watch him take the field for a grand total of four snaps in his first season with the organization.

Still, even if that’s not the case and the Jets end up struggling again, it’s safe to say that Greenberg has already won in life, and that’s the most important thing.
